There are two challenges my co-editor and I face when compiling a new Six-Word Memoir book. The first is trying to pick 1,000 from the hundreds of thousands of submissions to SMITHmag.net. That just takes time. The second is much trickier: enlisting celebrities to contribute a short, short life story. If I can get the message out, to the more famous people who walk the earth, about how much meaning the Six-Word Memoir project and books have to people around the world, the famous folks usually are game to participate.
