We have been working with Celebrity Concepts & Marketing for over 2 years and have been very happy with the partnership. Wendy is an absolute pleasure to work with and appreciates how time sensitive things can be, and always keeps us top of mind. Wendy has been a great, reliable resource for WebMD with a keen understanding of the brand. She is consistently able to book A-list celebrity covers and related health features through her impressive and long-standing relationships. We’ve worked together for 12 years and throughout that time Wendy has proven to be creative, persistent, and results-driven. It’s clear that she cares deeply about her clients’ success.WebMD / SVP
I can’t say enough about Wendy Zipes Hunter. Wendy has booked dozens of celebrities for me. When she’s part of the mix, I’m thrilled. I can always count on her to streamline the process. Wendy’s work doesn’t end when the celebrity says yes—she keeps things running smoothly from start to finish. She introduces the celebrity’s team to the writer, coordinates the interview, preps the writer with bio and background info, promotes ongoing communication, makes sure the interview goes off without a hitch and follows up with thank-yous all around. Later, when the article is published, she promotes it across various platforms. Wendy doesn’t miss a beat. She has her finger on the pulse of who’s hot and can help a publication boost its image. She’s an ace at landing A-list celebrities. She’s a skilled communicator and makes sure everyone’s needs are met. It’s clear why Wendy has a long list of devoted clients. She makes booking and spotlighting celebrities a pleasure—and a piece of cake. “We first came to Wendy for help to book celebrities for a campaign to help get Haitian children back to school. She brought not just one, but 17 celebrities on-board to do video PSAs for a campaign that helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars in support of our work. That was just the beginning. It was with her help that we were introduced to the amazingly talented Toni Collette, who recently joined the Concern family as our first-ever Celebrity Global Ambassador. We could not be more grateful to Wendy for her passion, commitment, and energy to help raise our profile and ultimately reach more people in need. She was a game changer for us.”CEO Concern Worldwide

We recently used the services of Celebrity Concepts to invite celebrities and VIPs to attend our Brand’s 150 year anniversary celebration in Miami. This PR and VIP event with 200 guests coming from all over the world was extremely important as it represented the Miami leg of a worldwide celebration called the “Odyssey of Pioneers”. It was an extreme pleasure to work with Wendy Zipes Hunter. From the very beginning, she welcomed this new challenge with passion, enthusiasm and energy. She proved to be dedicated, dependable, organized, flexible, patient and understanding. My inquiries were constant and she was always available to help and answer all of my questions. She went out of her way to get us the top guests to walk our red carpet, it was perfect. Thanks to her hard work, our TAG Heuer Odyssey of Pioneers Tesla Event was a great success. She contributed to make this event perfect and memorable. I am extremely pleased and happy that we chose her. I highly recommend Wendy Zipes Hunter at Celebrity Concepts for any celebrity booking. She has many contacts and connections and besides her professionalism, she is sweet and adorable. She is the one!Brand Manager, Tag Heuer
I first began working with Wendy Zipes Hunter when we launched WebMD the Magazinetogether in 2005. From the start, she has shown herself to be a total pro and the best in the business at what she does. She’s also a delight to do business with, and is a true team player who goes the distance to deliver, every single time. In addition to working on WebMD—which featured a highly sought-after celebrity on its cover from the very first issue, thanks to Wendy’s prowess and established relationships with top publicists and PR firms in New York and LA—I edited the regional travel-and-entertainment magazine Washington Flyer. Under my direction as editor in chief, I featured everyone from Leonardo DiCaprio to Larry King on my covers, so the bar was set high. When I went on maternity leave in July of 2007, Wendy took over in my absence without a hitch, and officially joined the Flyer team as the Bookings Director. She has brought in top names ever since, including Mad Men’s Christina Hendricks, Rosario Dawson, John Legend, Wolfgang Puck, Anne Curry, and more. I can’t recommend Wendy enough. She is exactly the kind of satellite player every editor needs: an expert on top of her game who needs absolutely no handholding. She brings fresh ideas to the table, and maintains a database of the industry’s biggest insiders. What else can I add? Just this: Hire her! You’ll be glad you did. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to contact me. I will continue to sing Wendy’s praises.Founding Editor, WebMD the Magazine, Former Editor in Chief, Washington Flyer
Because of my relationship with Celebrity Concepts & Marketing, I decided to book Scarlett Johansson for the cover of Web MD’s annual Health Heroes issue in Nov/Dec 2009 to promote USA Harvest, the charity that Scarlett has been affiliated with for four years. Stan Curtis, the founder of USA Harvest, called me personally to tell me that as a result of the phenomenal coverage Scarlett’s story received from Web MD’s vast readership, an influx of donations came in and resulted in USA Harvest’s ability to feed one million more children.Owner, True Public Relations
I have had the pleasure of knowing Wendy for more than 20 years – having worked with her when she was starting her film career at MGM. She has built a successful celebrity booking business and we have had great success featuring many of our clients in the magazines she has represented through the years. We value and appreciate our working relationship very much.Executive Vice President PMK/BNC
When we set out to launch WebMD the Magazine, Wendy Zipes Hunter was one of the first calls we made. She opened up her killer rolodex and immediately started making magic happen with our celebrity cover and inside bookings. Wendy never gives up and consistently over delivers. The word “no” doesn’t dissuade her. She’ll simply wait until the right opportunity – and find a new angle and get it done. She is one of the best parts of my day. Working with her is a true delight and I never cease to wonder at her savvy, ingenuity, and never give up mantra. I often come to work in the morning to find that she has fired off a round of emails throughout the night with stellar ideas for upcoming bookings, as she reacts to breaking news around the clock. She is the total package and is as organized as she is creative. Once we have talent booked, she is in command of every production detail, ensuring the interview is scheduled and completed and that every element is delivered and signed off on time. Since we started publishing, she has overseen the increase in quality of bookings and has continued to serve as our magazine’s most passionate and savvy advocate in the marketplace.Vice President, WebMD the Magazine
There are two challenges my co-editor and I face when compiling a new Six-Word Memoir book. The first is trying to pick 1,000 from the hundreds of thousands of submissions to SMITHmag.net. That just takes time. The second is much trickier: enlisting celebrities to contribute a short, short life story. If I can get the message out, to the more famous people who walk the earth, about how much meaning the Six-Word Memoir project and books have to people around the world, the famous folks usually are game to participate. But getting that message to them is very, very challenging unless you have a trusted source. For me that was Wendy Zipes Hunter and her crew at Celebrity Concepts. They knew exactly the right types of people to approach for our new book—from Dave Barry to Tony Kushner to Montel Williams to Marlo Thomas—and reeled them in quickly. Because of her efforts, our new book is both a better one and also has gotten much more notice in the media. For that I am eternally grateful.Editor, SMITH Magazine, co-editor of the Six-Word Memoir book series.
